Uranyl complexes and supramolecular compounds with rich N-heterocyclic have unique structural characteristics and properties. They are widely applied in many kinds of fields. We have designed and synthesized seven functional uranyl complexes and seven compounds with rich N-heterocyclic. Wherein the uranyl complexes were synthesized by UO2(CH3CO2)3-2H2O, Cu(NO3)2-3H2O, succinic acid, adipic acid,1,2,4,5-Benzenetetracarboxylic acid, nicotinic acid, citric acid and4,4’-bipyridine. Compounds with rich N-heterocyclic were synthesized by transition metal salts, H2L(2,6-bis(5-methyl-lH-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine) and carboxylic acid gands (2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid,2,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid,1,2,4,5-Benzenetetracarboxylic acid, acetic acid, glutaric acid). These complexes were characterized by spectroscopy, elemental analysis, TG and fluorescence properties. The structures of these complexes were determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The results show that there are three geometry for uranium. O=U=O bond angle in complex1is115.421(2)■(c/s-Dioxido), not a trans-Dioxido as usual. Complexes3-5are all uranyl-metal-ligand complexes, forming three dimensional network structures. Compound8is five-coordinated, forming a distorted square pyramid. Compounds9-13are all six-coordinated, forming deformed octahedral geometry. In these complexes, H2L have two kinds of coordinate mode(/<i-rj’’-rj’’-//and fi2-rj’-rjl-r]l-rjl). In addition, powder XRD results show that these complexes are all pure and free of impurities phase, which provides possibilities for further photocatalytic activity and biological studies. The compounds were tested for cytotoxicity in hADSCs, PC12and Chang liver cells with AO/EB staining and apoptosis assay. The cytotoxicity of the compounds was evaluated using a multiple parallel perfused microbioreactor. The results showed that the percentage of apoptotic cells gradually decreased as the concentration of the compounds decreased. Also. the results of apoptosis assays were consistent with the staining results.Successful synthesis of these compounds provides new ideas for design and synthesis of uranyl complexes and N-heterocyclic compounds in the future. This work lays a foundation for research of biological, photoelectric, materials and biomimetic catalysis.
