Molecular imprinted polymer(MIP) is a new functional polymer with highly selectivity, which isdeveloped rapidly in recent years. Its main features are physical robustness, thermal stability and can be usedin many fields. Now molecular imprinting technology(MIT) is used in chemical sensors, environmentalpollutant treatment and pharmaceutical analysis. With the in-depth study and widely ues of ionic liquids, people pay attention to its toxicity.Determination, recycling and disposal of ionic liquids in environmental samples become a serious problem. The traditional means of ionic liquid separation and enrichment, including UV, HPLC are applicable tohigh concentrations and single component system, but they can’t analyze complex component system, suchas environmental samples accurately. MIT can be used in the treatment and enrichment of ionic liquids incomplex component system. In this paper, we use surface molecular imprinting technology to study the impact of anion on thepreparation and adsorption properties of MIPs. We prepare a new MIP successfully and study theadsorption properties. The main achievements are as follows:1. The studies on the molecular imprinting technique are reviewed. Compare different preparationmethods of MIPs. Make a summary of the carrier in surface molecular imprinting technology.2. Prepare a series of MIPs of imidazolium-based ionic liquidswith the same cation([C4mim][X](X=Cl, CH3SO3, PF6, BF4, C4F7O2H, C4F9SO3)). The polymers are characterized by FT-IR spectra andSEM micrographs.Static adsorption experiment is used to analyze the adsorption properties of differentMIPs. The result indicated that adsorption properties of different MIPs show some regularity. This rule isconsistent with the internal hydrogen bonds of ionic liquids with different anions. Based on the rule andcharacterized by NMR, the reaction mechanism can be summarized that MAA and EDMA are used asdouble functional monomers, and anion is also involved in the reaction. The discovery of this rugularityprovides a theoretical reference for the preparation of new molecularly imprinted polymers.3. A novel MIP is prepared by surface precipitation with1-butyl-3-methylimidazoliumbis(trifluoro-methylsulfony)imide([EOM][Tf2N) as the template monomer. The optimization of reaction condition and the optimal proportion of reagents are studied. Acrylamide is used as functionalmonomer. Trichloromethane is used as solvent. Optimal proportion of reagents is template:functionalmonomer:cross linker=1:6:16. The polymers were characterized by FT-IR spectra and SEM micrographssurface area. The static adsorption experement indicats that the saturated adsorption was achieved in40minutes and the polymer shows high selectivity.4. The main results concerned in this paper were summarized and some new research ideas to sovlethe problems of molecularly imprinted technology in the future work have been put forward.
