Lamadian oilfield has entered the development stage of high water cut. With the increaseof water cut, remaining oil distribution is more scattered and the enhanced oil recovery ismore difficult. According to development and deployment of the Lamadian oilfieldtransitional zones, well pattern of the block transition zones in the North block Ⅱ of NorthernLamadian Oilfield (NNⅡ) were encrypted in2010, finishing46tertiary infilling wells totally,including45production wells and1water injection well. After the new drilling and oil welltransferred, the300m anti-nine spot areal well pattern changed into the212m five spot arealwell pattern. This paper analyzes the problems of transition zones in the NNⅡ block before encryptedincluding low level of water flooding control, high liquid withdrawal intensity and theirrational proportion of oil and water wells. The reservoir sedimentary and well patternchange characteristics of the encrypted pattern block are studied. From the profile, cyclecharacteristics of new and old wells are used to comprehensively judge of the boundaries ofthe distribution of sedimentary units; from the plane, the direction and continuity of sandbody enhanced, channel sand boundaries became more clear. From the different types andthickness levels of flooding data, oil layers after the well pattern infilling and adjustment isstill potential. After the infilling, the advantage dense well pattern, combined static and dynamic testdata, analyzes the reservoir sedimentary model and developmental characteristics of thedifferent types of encrypted well, the different oil-layer types, the remaining potential withdifferent thickness levels and identifies the enriched remaining oil layers. A comprehensiveadjustment for new and old water wells transfer in the encrypted area, optimizing fluidproduction structure and balancing formation pressure system. Thus, the reservoir utilized hasimproved, slowed waterflood production decline and enhanced oil recovery rate.
