1,6-hexanediol is a new kind of no pollution to environment andenvironment-friendly materials. There is unique performance on it, non-corrosive,and it can produce a range of new fine chemicals. This paper mainly studies oncopper based catalysts for hydrogenation of dimethyl adipate of1,6-hexanediol.Inrecent years,Hydrogenation of1,6-hexanediol catalyst is mainly copper-basedcatalyst.this catalyst has been paid more and more attention at home and abroad, but because of patent restrictions of foreign catalyst,Fewer papers about synthesisof domestic catalysts1,6-hexanediol. So the production of a kind of greenenvironmental protection and high1,6-hexanediol yield catalyst, has greateconomic benefits and social benefits. In this paper, the CuO-ZnO-Al2O3catalyst was prepared by co precipitationmethod. The high temperature and high pressure reaction kettle-gaschromatography activity evaluation unit to investigate catalyst for dimethyladipate catalyzed reaction performance, thus associated with the activity ofcatalyst. The effect of catalyst composition was studied. The results found:With theincrease of Cu content,Zinc aluminum atomic ratio increases,The catalyst activityfirst increased and then decreased,When Cu content was40%,Zn:Al=2.7:1,hadthe highest activity, the yield of1,6-hexanediol was73%.The effect of catalyst preparation conditions were studied. The results showedthat:Preparation conditions play a role in he formation of crystalline size, dispersion, reduction, etc.To make a significant impact on the activity ofcatalyst.Synthetically considering the catalyst activity, when aging time was2h、the calcination temperature was450℃、 the calcination time was4h, theconversion of dimethyl adipate and the yield of1,6-hexanediol received highestrate,were98.46%and73.0%,respectively.The effect of reduction conditions was studied.when the reduction temperature was280℃、reduction time was4h,the conversion of dimethyl adipateand the yield of1,6-hexanediol received highest rate, were98.46%and73.0%,respectively.Aging time was2h、the calcination temperature was450℃、the calcinationtime was4h、the reduction temperature was280℃、reduction time was4h,in theXRD spectra, the dispersion characteristic peaks of CuO and ZnO were the mostwide and diffusion.SEM indicated that the catalyst of coarse crystals began toform and gradually formed particles, the catalytic effect is stronger at this time.
