Recently, the metal-organic polymers have got wide attention because of their potential application in the areas of catalytic properties, absorption, gas storage, ions exchange, and the development of optical, electronics and magnetic devices. In this article, we chose1,3-bis (4’-carboxylphenoxy) benzoic acid and1,3-bis((4’-carboxylphenyl)oxy)benzoic acid as the major ligand coordinating with metal ions by hydrothermal methods, and synthesized a series of new coordination polymers, which are shown below:[Cd2(CH3COO)(L1)(H2O)2](1)1(H2O)4]-4H2O (2)[Co (H2L1)2(HO)4](3)[Na(H2L1)](4)[Ln(L1)(H2O)]·0.5H2O (5-11)[Ln(L2)(H2O)2](12-14)First of all, these polymers’ structures were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Then some specific complexes were further characterized by elementary analysis, IR, and their thermo-gravimetric, fluorescence and magnetic properties were also discussed. |
