With the rapid development of the basic industries, the CNC machine industry hasalready reached a certain scale in our country. As the basic of the manufacturingtechnology and heavy equipment in our country, the high-grade CNC machine is developedto be intelligent with higher speed, higher precision and higher flexibility. Also, for amachine tool, working accuracy is directly determined by the stability and precision of thestaging. So, study on the characteristic of the staging is indicated to be important. In thepast time, study on the property of the staging was mainly static analysis, and dynamicanalysis was seldom involved. But sometimes these dynamic processes were very complexand hard to control, which will greatly affect the working accuracy of the machine. So,combining static analysis and dynamic analysis together will provide some engineeringsignificance and theoretical value.Firstly, background and meaning of the study was simply described in this paper, together with the development progress of static and dynamic analysis on the staging. Also,an idea of doing some simulation of the static and dynamic analysis by using finite elementmethod was proposed, providing strong theoretical basis for the following study.Secondly, detailed static analysis was carried out by using the hydrostatic staging ofTH6213CNC machining center as a subject. Detailed results of the displacement andstress were calculated, and three conditions were taken into consideration, containingunder the load of self-weight, under maximum load and under certain cutting force. Simplecomparisons were carried out between different situations. Finally, after the calculation of1to6order modal of the staging. Dynamic analysis onthe staging was taken out by using the transient analysis function of ANSYS, Two extremecases were taken into consideration. One was when the machine started suddenly, and theother was when it stopped suddenly. Detailed results of the displacement and stress of2representative nodes under these two situations were calculated, and relationships betweenthe properties and time were provided. The study indicated that displacement of the staging is in line with the load applied onit. But in the two dynamic processes when the machine started suddenly and when it stopped suddenly, certain vibration will happen to the staging. After this study, importanttheoretical guidance is provided to improve the characteristic and working accuracy ofTH6216CNC machine center.
