Application Of GEPON Technology In Pingdingshan Coal Mine Group

With the rapid development of GEPON technology, witch has become a hot pot of modern communications industry, the coal industry is also take an active part in the construction of GEPON. According to the characteristics of GEPON technology and practical application in coal mines. The Tianan fourth mine in Pingmei has applied GEPON technology to the mine integrated automation system, and achieved good result in practical application, it provades an example of the technology witch has been used in the coal industry, so that to prove the feasibility of GEPON technology applied in the coal mine.The implementation principle and key technology of GEPON is introduced in the dissertation of the first place, the basic requrements and characteristics of the construction of the coal industry in the GEPON is discribed ether.The dissertation emphasis on analysis and design GEPON technology which is implemented in the mine integrated automation system of the Tianan fourth mine in PingMei. It takes a feasibility analysis on the implementation of the full mine integrated automation system by GEPON technology,and makes a design and implementation of site specific programs for sub-systems like underground digital industrial television system,underground comprehensive monitoring sub-station, personnel positioning and so on. it makes an analysis of link’s optical loss, optical loss test and network performance test of mine GEPON systems. The result of the test shows that the ring redundancy GEPON technology can ensure reliability and realibility of information transmission, and provides a reliable transport network platform for informatization constraction of mine.
