With the development and application of automatic technology, the demand for integrated automatic systems had been increasing rapidly. Aimed at yeilding high quality beer products, an automatic control system for beer fermentation was developped in Shiliang Group Co.Ltd, which production is up to 350,000 ton per year. In order to satisfy full-automatic control and supervision for the entire manufacture process of the beer fermentation, a kind of special system framework was introduced.Based on the upper fermentation system, the technique for the integration of sub-control system and information management were analysised and lucubrated, a set of integrated full-automatic systems and corresponding software were developed and applied successfully.The system was composed of control stations and operation stations which based on PLC. The core of the structure was 10 S7-300/400 PLCs and 4 IPCs. Aimed at the low rate of MPI network between OS/CS, a kind of Control Station/Server/Client architecture was designed and applied successfully. In order to achieve high-rate realtime data interactivity between operation station and control station, in this architecture, a fixed-function server as the hinge between OS/CS was introduced. In this way, the fast Erthernet could be used suficiently and the load of MPI network could be reduced largely. Furthermore, for the flexible seamless integration of IPC, PLC, and especially single equipment system, the real-time capability and expandability were improved greatly.Since the beer fermentation control system is always very large, in this thesis, the conveinience to deploy and update of the supervisory software was also considered and represented in details. B/S (Browser/Server) archietacture based on web is a new trend of the supervisory software development. Compared with the traditional C/S (Client/Server) archietacture, B/S archietacture achieved "Zero Deployment" in the client, and it could work across platforms. But with the traditional web application model the response was not rapid enough, then AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript XML) technology was introduced. With an asynchronous application model, AJAX could achieve realtime data interactivity between C/S. In this thesis, an supervisory software for the beer automation system based on AJAX and B/S archietacture was designed, developped and applied successfully.
