As the main technology for producing plastic products, injection molding is a kind of typical multi-variable, large lagging, strong coupling, nonlinear complex process. How to realize the control of injection molding products quality has been a research hot spot problem all the way. In order to solve the problem that products quality fluctuates caused by the surrounding environment, this paper put forward an injection molding process parameters synergetic control method based on Gaussian prediction, to improve the injection molding products quality and assure its consistency.The establishment and solving of Gaussian process prediction model was researched, the nonlinear Gaussian process prediction model between process parameters and product quality was build, taking the products quality prediction as a case, the predict result from Gaussian process prediction model was verified to be reliable and effective through the concrete case analysis.On the basis of further studying of probabilistic principal component analysis canonical and correlation analysis, spherical connection method based on Gaussian process (GP-SC) is introduced, which is used for the correlation analysis between process parameters and quality indexes, and to determine the sequence and direction of process parameters adjustment. Then this method was proved that its computation process is easier and result is more accurate relatively, after compared with Gaussian correlation analysis and canonical correlation analysis method. So it can be used to calculate the correlation degree between process parameters and product quality.Following the above research, the process parameters are divided into active and passive parameters according to their adjustment properties. When predict the products quality exceeding the allowed range for active parameter fluctuations, synergistic control of passive parameters immediately is needed to ensure the stability of product quality. In view of this, an injection molding process parameters synergetic control method based on Gaussian prediction is put forward:determine the process parameters adjustment order as well as adjustment size and direction According to the correlation degree between the process parameters and quality indexes; predict the products quality after adjustment to judge its quality change trend by means of Gaussian prediction model, which can be used to realize the closed-loop control of product quality. Furthermore, single quality goals and multiple quality goals are studied in depth, and simulation analysis was made on single quality index as an example to verify the feasibility of the method.Finally, a part of Nintendo handheld DS consoles was selected to perform an experiment, taking mold temperature as the active parameter that affects the warpage. The simulation analysis process of synergetic control on the computer was mapped to a specific injection molding field. And compared with the results from only adjust mold temperature. Results show that process parameters synergetic control method can keep the products quality within the allowed error range during the process of the active parameters fluctuating. The method guarantees the quality of injection molding products, and greatly improves the stability of product quality at the same time, which verifies that the method is effective and feasible, with strong practical application value.
