At Present, industrial injection molding machine usually be selected for researching on polymer materials science.That not only wastes more raw materials,but also prolongs the period of production and increases the cost of it. So, based on survey the nowadays status of the industrial injection molding machine and polymer science research, it is necessary for us to improve the traditional injection molding machine for today scientific research,This project comprises three parts, i.e. development of mechanical parts, improvement of control system and prediction system of mechanical properties. For the first part, according to the requirement analysis, the main mechanical component screw rod has been improved, then the others such as adiabatic muzzle,plastic parts,electromotion connecting rod, thrust bearing and ejection device are redesigned; For the second part, due to the temperature is a key factor for ensuring the quality of the plastic product, by combined PID control system and fuzzy control theory fuzzy PID control system has been developed and resolved the problems such as over span adjustment and prolonged adjustment time of the temperature control system of the conventional injection machine. For the last part, making use of RBF (radial basis function) has some advantages such as fast neural network learning,strong dynamic simulation ability, good input/output mapping function and global optimal approaching, the performance prediction system of wheat straw-reinforced composite has been developed. In the system, K-means clustering algorithm is adopted to be selected the radial basic function center, and the molding temperature and pressure are regarded as the parameters of molding and predicting.In this paper, the mechanical device and control system have been developed with CAD and fuzzy control techniques,and the mechanical properties prediction system based on RBF neural Network has been achieved too.Utilizing the results further, we can design and manufacture a new generation of micro injection molding machine which is more fit to the present polymer research and has the advantages of precise control and intelligent prediction.
