Currently, fine heavy medium cyclone is recognized as a high precision coarse slime sorting equipment) its principle is to use Archimedes’ principle in centrifugal field.The subject of this study is Beijing guohua technology group co., LTD fine heavy medium cyclone FHMC200。 Taking Beijing guohua technology group LTD FHMC200fine heavy medium cyclone as research object, using four factors and three levels of orthogonal test, research the feeding pressure, feed density, feeding magnetic content and cylindrical length which affected its separation efficiency。 Test results ecart probable moye and underflow mismatch content as evaluation, tests significance of each factor by visual analysis methods, adopts each indicator comprehensive comparison and analysis, selects the optimal level combination, determine the optimal structure and process parameters.The orthogonal experiment results show that:(1) The main factors affecting the fine heavy medium cyclone ecart probable moye is magnetic material content, in the test range, the higher magnetic material content, the smaller ecart probable moye;(2) The main factors affecting the fine heavy medium cyclone underflow mismatch content is magnetic material content, in the test range, the higher feed density, the smaller underflow mismatch content;(3) The optimum operating parameters is the pressure k3Dρ (k3-coefficient, D-cyclone diameter, p-feeding density), feed density1.25kg/L, magnetic content50%, cylinder length322mm;(4) Under the optimum operating parameters, the ecart probable moye is as low as0.068kg/L, the bottom flow mismatch content as low as27.81%.
