Grinding engineering occupies an important position in today’s nationaleconomy construction. Plate-Roller Mill is widely used in the field of grinding as animportant equipment in grinding engineering,due to its advantages of high efficiencyand energy saving and operation stability and high reliability. This paper developed ANew Plate-Roller Mill according to the Industrial solid waste-coal ash Reuse Projectsof Shougang Group.First of all, this paper fully studies the development present situation of the millat home and abroad. Especially the advantages and disadvantages of existing mill areanalyzed, this paper establish that vertical roller mill is the mainstream millequipment in grinding engineering today. Through the in-depth discussion of thegrinding process and solution of vertical roller mill, and according to the smallmaterial particle size and the large capacity of grinding machine of the objectiverequirements, this paper develop a unique mill equipment,its form of grinding is agrinding table and six roller. Through research on the material moving on thegrinding table, the paper works out the key performance parameters include therelative size of grinding roller and grinding table, the grinding roller pressure, thespeed and meshing angle of the new plate-roller mill.Secondly, aiming at the key problems of grinding mill and project requirements,the paper develops four types of new key components: through the studying of thestructure and performance of the vertical grinding mill at home and abroad,combining the problem such as wear parts easy to wear, replace inconvenience, thepaper develops new type of grinding roller rapid removal mechanism, which canautomatically rotate grinding roller out of grinding mill, in order to realize the rapidreplacement of worn parts, improve the working efficiency; the gap adjustmentbetween millstone and grinding roller is an urgent problem in today’s grindingindustry, by comparing the variety of adjustment plans, the paper develops new typeof grinding gap stepless adjustment mechanism, which can be convenient to adjustthe gap, guarantee the normal work of the grinding mill, shorten the downtime, improve the working efficiency; due to the material particle size fine after grinding ongrinding mill, the material enters into the cavity of grinding mill easily, leading to thegrinding mill failure, so the paper develops new type of airtight mechanism, improvesthe service life of the grinding mill;To solve the problem of blanking cleanup ongrinding mill, developing automatic nesting mechanism, which can make thematerials left from the millstone automatically discharged out of grinding mill, avoidthe downtime trouble for cleaning blanking.Finally, this paper studies the complex stress condition of key-part grindingroller, it is concluded that maximum force of grinding roller under the actual workingcondition. By using ANSYS to carry on the FEA analysis and optimization design ofgrinding roller,it makes grinding roller have the light quality, the optimal structure, atthe same time to ensure that grinding roller has sufficient strength and rigidity in theprocess of grinding.The New Plate-Roller Mill has been successful commissioning in Shouganggroup in on March25,2014. In this paper, the ideas and methods of research haveimportant reference value for developing new similar grinding equipment.
