Carbon dioxide (CO2) is often used as component of natural gas or petroleum associatedgas present in the oil and gas. CO2have highly corrosive on steel and cement after it dissolvedin water. In the appropriate environmental conditions of humidity and pressure downhole,CO2will produce severe corrosion on cement and casing and tubing, and it exist a wide rangeof CO2in the development process of oil and gas wells, the wet CO2will cause rapid generalcorrosion and severe localized corrosion of steel, then making the metal pipes and metalequipment occurs early corrosion failure, lead to shortened service the life of pipes andequipment. Practice has proved that, in a variety of protection methods of metal corrosion,add corrosion inhibitor is a simple process, low cost and strong practicability approach, and ithas been widely used in petrochemical production process.This paper mainly studies:①Simulated downhole conditions, conducted indoorexperiments on N80steel, nano, phosphorus nickel plating, nitriding treatment, aluminizingtreatment and other variety of corrosion materials, also conducted the degree of corrosionanalysis;②Use of electron microscopy, energy spectrum and X-ray diffraction, conductcomposition and crystal latticecrystal form analysis for the corrosion products and materialswere etched, research and analysis of various factors on the corrosion rate of CO2;③Conductmolecular design, interior synthesize novel CO2corrosion inhibitor based on research resultsand evaluated for its properties;④Conduct analysis on test specimens and the degree ofcorrosion of tools downhole, and combin theoretical research conclusions to determine thetemperature, CO2partial pressure, the influence of media components on the corrosion rateand the creation of predictive models. For the selection of site corrosion inhibitors andprotection of pipelines and equipment in the oil and gas fields provide a theoretical basis.Analysis and Research CO2corrosion mechanism and CO2corrosion inhibitor of rule,ultimately determine use benzyl chloride, quinoline as raw materials, synthesis of a quinolinequaternary ammonium salt, the resulting product is benzyl chloride quinoline OP-10and thenwith ethanol compounded, get new CO2corrosion inhibitor KX. According to data on theperformance evaluation of corrosion inhibitor KX analysis, ultimately determine when the useof concentration of corrosion inhibitor KX is3000mg/L, we can make the corrosion rate ofmaterial is lower than the standard requirements of national industry0.125mm/a, thecorrosion inhibition rate is greater than96%and the validity period can reach more than400days.
