Plastics industry in recent years, the development of the demand is higher and higher, fora variety of plastic products of fire safety are also put forward higher requirements, especiallyin the wire and cable and indoor decorative materials, not only has the flame retardantperformance requirements, no halogen, no pollution is also required. For the preparation ofhalogen free flame retardant material, use polyolefin, and other polymer materials do notcontain halogen as matrix resin.PE is an important part of the thermoplastic plastic varieties, it has the advantage of lightquality, non-toxic and has excellent chemical resistance and other characteristics, widely inthe electronics industry, chemical industry, food, machinery, etc. But the oxygen index wasonly17.5, polyethylene is a kind of flammable materials. Polyethylene is burned, willproduce serious molten dripping problem, resulting in the flame retardant modification ofdifficulties. The problem for the use of polyethylene has brought very big security hiddendanger. So, it is very important to the study of the flame retardant modification ofpolyethylene.This paper is mainly about how to make polyethylene anticorrosion adhesive tape basematerial has flame retardant research and debate. The main raw material of polyethyleneanticorrosion adhesive tape base material is polyethylene, belong to the combustible material,in order to avoid safe hidden trouble, appeared in the process of production and use, carry onthe modification. Namely in the process of preparation of modified polyethylene, by adding acertain amount of compound flame retardants, and understand its flame retardancy, and theindices such as tensile strength and impact strength in its mechanical properties as well as theimpact on the mechanical properties were studied.Thesis firstly introduces several kinds of common flame retardant polyethylene method,then according to actual production situation, through the experiment to verify the feasibilityof the composite flame retardant methods. At the same time analyzed the impact of flameretardants on the mechanical behavior of base material, through the test to ensure that thebase material mechanical properties to meet the standard requirements. In the production ofpolyethylene anticorrosion adhesive tape in the process of using thermal compositeproduction process automation control system, using asphalt adhesive layer coating methodwith polyethylene composite after rolling, made of polyethylene anticorrosion adhesive tape.
