Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has a long history which is the importantcomponent of medicine. However, in China, most domestic factories are also givenpriority to manual production, which doesn’t achieve a large-scale automationproduction and quality guarantee in the new century, so it limits the promotion ofTCM seriously. Based on a TCM project in Jiangxi province, this dissertation hasdesigned a medicine production process control system.In order to build the medicine production process control system, researched thetechnologic process and main sections’ control points of medicine production. Buildthe overall scheme of the system which is divided into the monitor layer, control layerand process layer. Software and hardware of each layer were designed. At last,usingthe fuzzy PID in the double concentrate section in effect evaporation temperaturecontrol.In this paper, we chose IPC-PLC control system and designed the monitoringlayer, control system and process system to realize the requirements of Chinesemedicine production process. Using PLCSIM to debug program. Selected Yanhua IPCas upper computers, then, completed the configuration of the upper system by usingWinCC. Achieve the function of real time monitoring, parameter setting, alarms, dataarchiving, history query and others. The design of PLC control system is the primarycoverage of this dissertation. Hardware select S7-400series’ PLC of SIEMENS andCPU choose412-2DP. And use STEP7to program and hardware configuration. Theprocess layer is the basis of this system. Research the use of advanced sensors andspecial valves that is key to this system. Research the use of advanced sensors andspecial valves, which are key to the control system. On the basis of the above,thiscontrol system also need to design control network. It can realize the interconnection between the layers quickly and accurately. Control network includes using theIndustrial Ethernet connection WinCC and PLC, communicating between the processlayer and PLC by PROFIBUS-DP.Finally, in view of the fact that the medicine procedure is multi-sections,nonlinear and long-time delay, using the PLC programming to achieve the doubleconcentrate section of effect evaporation temperature of liquids in the fuzzy PIDcontrol algorithm, the simulation effect is good, has reached the expected requirement.The simulation results show the control effect is good, the working efficiency hasbeen raised.
