Ink is one of the most critical and important raw materials in the printing industry, which has been widely used in the field of books and periodicals, packaging and decoration, architectural decoration and industrial production. With the rapid development of industrial technology, printing industry put forward new demands for the quality of the printing ink. However in the actual production process, the production efficiency is low and product quality is not stable because the batching weighing is not inaccurate. This paper designed an automatic monitoring system for ink production based on S7-300 PLC and WinCC7.0. It not only improves the accuracy of oil weighing, but also improves the automation level and product quality, making a higher contribution to the economic efficiency of enterprise.In the production process of the ink, batching weighing system is the most important and most complex control system, and the accuracy of the ingredients will have a significant impact on the quality of ink. According to the shortage of the field batching system, the system adopted the distributed control structure, and realized the communication of network system and the acquisition of real-time data through industrial Ethernet and PROFIBUS-DP field bus technology. These ensure the accuracy of measurement, and improve the reliability and rapidity of data communication. In order to increase the flexibility and versatility of the batching process and reduce the time of system maintenance and upgrade, PLC programming used modular design ideas. Due to limitations of generating complex reports data in the configuration software, it cannot meet the production needs of enterprise management. Therefore, a new design idea for the production of the report was provided by combining the PLC control program and the Server SQL database. It realizes the automatic recording of data and the automatic generation of complex reports in the batching production process, which improves the efficiency of the batching system.In the actual batching system, the size of the pre-closing value is the main factor that influences the weighing precision. With different lengths of the field oil pipelines, different properties of oil need different pre-closing value. The size of the pre-closing value is dynamic because of the influence of the external environment and the stability of the device itself. How to automatically adjust the size of the pre-closing value is the key problem of batching weighing system. Since the feeding pump is a constant speed, feed valve is an on-off valve which cannot be controlled by conventional two-speed control in the batching system, the paper proposed a fuzzy control scheme according to the relationship of each weighing errors and each pre-closing value. The scheme takes the weight deviation as the input, the pre-closing value as the output, constantly adjusting pre-closing value, so that the weight deviation tends to zero, and improving the accuracy of batching system. The actual running result shows that the operation effect of fuzzy control theory is better than that of manual adjustment, which basically meets the requirements of production.
