Abstract:The copper strip double surface milling machine is an important equipment in technological process of copper and copper alloy strip production, it cuts double surface and edge oxide of copper strip from hot rolling or horizontal continuous casting, and provides high surface quality strip for cold rolling, it’s equipment level and control precise will influence directly quality of final products and rate of finished products. This paper takes copper strip project in Tongling nonferrous metals group as the object of study, studied the design and application of computer control system about1250MM copper strip double surface milling machine.Control system design of integrated industrial control technology and computer control technology, adopts hierarchical architecture, constitutes the integrated system integration of management and control based on PLC, FCS and DCS, the entire system design of integrated drive control, process control, industrial communication, visual control, fault alarm, diagnosis, report printing and other functions. The monitoring interface is friendly, high production efficiency.This paper firstly analyzes the main equipments of the system composition and function, control requirements and control system design principles. Secondly, starting from the system architecture design, studies the system of three level two layer network structure, software and hardware composition and main control functions, analyzes the Siemens S7-300PLC, strip profile measurement system, programming and debugging of software and VB programming environment, among them, focuses on the study of AC and DC drive project, automatic position control (APC) design, drive control, tension control, automatic thick control (ATC), the automatic width control (AWC), the PLC control functions and design of algorithms that achieve a greater impact on the system plan and the performance, function. Finally, the paper studies the system of OPC communication and DP communication implementation and monitoring screen design.44charts,5tables,62references...
