Abstract:The construction of metal and nonmetal underground mines e mergency refuge systems is helpful to the improvement of the mining e nterprises safety capability, reduces the accidents and losses, improves t he underground mining enterprises ability of resistance to all kinds of ri sks and disasters. Refuge chamber is a key component of the emergenc y refuge systems.As an important refuge place, Refuge chamber is critic al to the survival of the trapped workers.Based on the relevant literature s in home and abroad, according to the mine environmental conditions and the miners basic living conditions,the paper mainly makes a deep st udy of environment control system of thirty people mines refuge chambEnvironmental control system is divided into four parts to study, th ey are the refrigeration system, air purification system, oxygen supply s ystem, the positive pressure to maintain the system.After conducting the comprehensive analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of all refri geration mode,the paper selects the more economical and practical refrig eration way in the design of refrigeration system,meanwhile the heat so urces in refuge chamber are designed and calculated in detail;The paper firstly lists a variety of air purification methods that are applied to car bon monoxide and carbon dioxide, then through analyzing their pros an d cons and the paper gives the most suitable air purification method;Th e paper analyses the current oxygen supply system of refuge chamber,a nd selects the appropriate way to supply oxygen.The ventilation rate is separately analyzed and calculated according to the harmful gas dilution model,the heat elimination model, the oxygen balance model and air c hange rate model;According to the main factors of affecting positive pre ssure,the refuge chamber positive pressure value is analyzed and calculat ed,and also positive pressure maintenance mode is designed.Moreover th e air curtain isolation system is established,and the relevant parameters of high pressure gas curtain are reasonably designed based on the actua1situation.This paper provides reference value for the development of c hina’s mines refuge chamber.
