The coal industry is a high-risk industry and the gas is an important factor affecting the safety of coal production. In order to ensure mine safety, coal enterprises not only installed a large underground gas monitoring system, but also equip their workers with dedicated portable gas detectors. However, in the vast majority of coal mining enterprises, for a long time, the distribution and recycling of portable gas detector is through artificial manner. This method is slow and inefficient, and manual registration could easily lead to errors and is not readily accessible. In order to improve the efficiency of coal production enterprises and scientific management level, this paper designs a portable gas detector automatic transceiver system based on two-dimensional code. The system is used to realize portable gas detector automatic dispatching, recycling and recording.In achieving this automatic dispatching and recycling system, it is necessary to read and identify the information of workers and instruments. Through comparison and analysis of common storage medium, the system uses the latest, most widely used dimensional code technology to store relevant information of requisitioned worker. Aiming at actual demand of coal enterprises, this paper uses embedded technology to design the system. The system architecture has two parts:client and server. Dispatching and recycling client is designed directly to requisitioned worker, it would finish the work such as collecting two-dimensional code image, RF card information of portable gas detector, dispatching detector, measuring data and transmitting data. Server is mainly to complete the two-dimensional code decoding, record personnel information and instrumentation informationClient device is the foundation of the whole system. By comparing a variety of micro-processing models, S3C6410is selected to be the control chip of client hardware which is based on ARM11core. To achieve the function of image capture, card information reading, channel detection, detector dispatching, Z301P camera, MFRC522reader, TG-300linear actuator, proximity switch are used.Client operating system is embedded Linux. Firstly, the way of building the cross-compiler platform and transplanting Linux to client is described. After that, the driver of linear actuator and proximity switch is designed. Finally, this paper designed the program modules of image capture, data transmission, dispatching, and instrument information collection.Server program is based on Java language and database is based on MySQL. The server-side program includes two parts:service response program and graphical user interface. According to the function, service response program is divided into four modules:module of image receiving, module of two-dimensional barcode decoding, module of database accessing, module of instrument information receiving. The GUI which is designed for managers to make management more convenient can achieve the function of modifying information of the workers and the detectors.The whole system is established and the main parts are tested. The tests show that the automatic dispatching and recycling system for portable gas detector can reach the actual demand. It can improve the rate of detector dispatching and recycling, strengthen the management of detector.
