Rapid detection of Liquid metal’s quality is an important step in the process offoundry production, which has important meaning to the quality of castings. Traditionaltesting methods are difficult to meet the needs of optimization control of castingproduction, for the long cycle, high cost and poor applicability. Therefore, It hasimportant academic value and good social-economic benefits to research for a quick andsimple hot metal quality inspection and control method before furnace and the support ofa high precision and good stability thermal analyzer with the low price. Based on theexisting thermal analyzer with single function, poor flexibility, and the unsuitable abilitywith general model of hardware environment, this paper proposes propose a analyzes andstudies of a new type of dual channel before furnace iron liquid rapid thermal analysismethod.Dual-channel thermal analysis system is two conjoined sample cup whichpouring two alloys. the temperature of molten iron is collected and analyzed in order toachieve rapid detection of the quality of molten iron blast furnace. this paper is analyzedand studied double cup structure, temperature data acquisition system and dataprocessing system to ensure the accuracy of dual-channe front rapid analysis andapplicability of the system. First, on the basis of the summary and analysis of the thermalanalysis sample cup, thermal analysis sample cups by using a numerical simulationsoftware were filled and solidification process simulation, and explore the sample cupvolume size, modeling materials, shape, thickness, and the influence of temperaturethermocouple data acquisition.Second, it is to optimize the design of data acquisitionsystem and to analyze the performance requirements of data transmission、 processing、conversion and single chip. the principle diagram of double channel for fast detectioncircuit and computer program code has been designed by single chip.Software part of the thermal analysis system is mainly combine the MicrosoftVisual Basic (below referred to as VB) and MATLAB programming methods. Andultimately realizethe functions of the relevant data and coordinate settings between sampled and analyzed before entering temperature data acquisition,display real-timegraphics casting alloys, eigenvalues recognition, an order differential curve, computingand data storage and reproduction. Accurate analysis can be performed on the coolingcurve and its derivative curve can be widely used in the analysis of the quality of castiron to achieve real-time data acquisition and processing, as well as applications incompacted graphite iron mass analysis.The results show that dual hot liquid iron blast furnace system can achieve rapidanalysis of continuous detection of liquid iron solidification temperature. rapid detectionof high-strength cast iron carbon, silicon, carbon, silicon and iron equivalent of thechemical composition of the alloy hardness and tensile strength also can predictaccurately andoperate easily to achieve liquid metal casting industry and intelligentcontinuous temperature furnace analysis whic has a good application.
