Butyl acetate is a kind of food flavoring essence which is allowed to use by GB2760-86. And it has been used as solvent and extracting agent in pharmaceutical and coating industry. So, it is an important organic chemical meterial. But in industry, concentrated sulphuric is used as catalyst in the synthesis of butyl acetate. It makes post-processing inconvenient and environment polluted. So, green chemical synthesis strategies are the development tendency in the future.P zeolite is a kind of high silicon zeolite with large-pore. Because of its heat endurance、acid stability and good capability, the research of P zeolite become more and more. In this experiment, β zeolite was synthesized by using TEABr as template and NaAlO2、NaOH、SiO2、coarse pore silica as raw materials with the surface-wetting method. The results show that β zeolite could be synthesized by coarse pore silica and couldn’t be synthesized by SiO2in this experiment conditions.The effect of various organic acids and their ammonium salts(different number of hydroxyl, same number of carboxyl) treatment on the structure and acidity of Hβ zeolite was investigated by XRD、IR、NH3-TPD et al. HP zeolite modified by various organic acids and their ammonium salts kept the similar crystal structure. But the relative crystallinity of β zeolite modified by oxalic acid and its ammonium salt was reduced. Finally, it showed good capability in the composition of butyl acetate.The effect of various metal cations treatment on the structure and acidity of Hp zeolite was investigated by XRD、IR、NH3-TPD et al. Hβ zeolite modified by various metal cations kept the similar crystal structure. But the crystal structure of β zeolite modified by metal cations was not changed. And its total acids was enhanced. Finally, it also showed good capability in the composition of butyl acetate.
