Chalcogen hybrid nanomaterials have excellent physical and chemical properties, show potential great applications in photoelectron devices, sensors and aviations, and have become one of the most active research fields. They are very important to systematically investigate the synthesis methods for chalcogen hybrid nanomaterials, and to research their applications in photoelectron and sensor.This paper focused on the controlled synthesis of chalcogen hybrid nanomaterials, and prepared chalcogen-metal nanobelt and the grapheme/chalcogen hybrid nanomaterials. Also some work was done on photoelectron and catalysis properties, and several results were obtained, as follow:1. Pb(NO3)2and thioacetamide as precursors, SDBS playing two roles in the precursor and the surfactant, PbS nanobelts were synthesized under gentle hydrothermal condition. Transmission electron microscope, X-ray diffraction and photoluminescence were used to characterize the prepared nanobelts. The results illustrated that the intermediate product PbS act as templates in the synthesis process by hydrothermal conditions. Furthermore, the formation mechanism of nanobelts was studied and proposed.2. We developed a facile, one-step, solvothermal method for the synthesis of grapheme/PbS quantum dot nanocomposites directly from graphene oxide, with PbS very well dispersed on the graphene nanosheets. Photoluminescence measurements showed that the integration of PbS with graphene significantly decreases their photoluminescence.Through this study, the next step to regulate the grapheme/PbS quantum dot dimension of grapheme/PbS quantum dot nanocomposites as Sensitized solar cells materials,fuel and lay a theroetical foundation.3. We used the same, one-step, solvothermal method for the synthesis of grapheme/CdS quantum dot nanocomposites directly from graphene oxide, with CdS very well dispersed on the graphene nanosheets. Transient photovoltage studies revealed that the grapheme/CdS nanocomposite exhibits very unexpected strong positive photovoltaic response, while separate samples of graphene and CdS quantum dots of a similar size do not show any photovoltaic response.In this study,prepared by the grapheme/CdS quantum dot nanocomposites-electrode test, it’s IPCE as high as16%,that the grapheme/CdS quantum dot nanocomposites electrode used in polymer solar cells will be in people’s lives in the future is very promising.
