The study of nanomaterials has always been the focus of intensive researchbecause of its unique chemical and physical properties. The cuprous oxide is a kindof important inorganic material, which is widely used in many fields because of itsexcellent properties. In this paper, various morphologies and different sizes ofmicro/nano cuprous oxide were controllably synthesized by liquid-phase route, andgrowth process of micro/nano cuprous oxide was situ studied by microcalorimetry.Based on the prepared products, the catalytic properties of the micro/nano cuprousoxide for the decomposition of ammonium perchlorate and the reduction of methylorange were investigated. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. Various morphologies and different sizes of micro/nano cuprous oxide wereprepared by liquid-phase route, and the influences of different chemical parametersof the prepared products were discussed. The products was analyzed andcharacterized by using XRD, FE-SEM.2. Growth process of micro/nano cuprous oxide was situ study byRD496-CK2000microcalorimetry. The thermodynamic and kinetic information ofits growth process was obtained, and the growth mechanism was interpreted.3. Based on the prepared products, the the catalytic properties of themicro/nano cuprous oxide for the decomposition of ammonium perchlorate wereinvestigated by TG/DTA6300simultaneous thermal analyzer.4. Based on the prepared products, the the catalytic properties of themicro/nano cuprous oxide for the reduction of methyl orange were studied byultraciolet-visible spectrophtometry. |
