This paper mainly discusses the method of estimating the causes and the number of agricultural non-point source material, test in Shanxi Lan Lan Yi River Basin as the experimental area of farmland, the farmland non-point source pollutants principle and number were evaluated, the experimental analysis of the pesticide and fertilizer pollution, N, P emissions calculation results, rural waste, the pollution status of rural domestic waste, pollutants into the river, estimation of coefficient of pollutants into rivers and monthly distribution, the calculation results, the water environmental capacity of N, P and emissions into the river volume estimation, N, P self-purification capacity of rivers.
