| The main purpose of this paper is to design a multi-functional casters roll gapmeasuring instrument with independent intellectual property rights.The DSPchip(TMS320F28335) is used as the core processor of roll gap messurement system inthis design,and the design of peripheral hardware circuit is based on this chip.Software design is completed on uC/OS-II RTOS platform,and use PC software toanalyze and illustrate the mensurement data.the achievement of data trasmissiondepends on wirless mode.The design of entire system implements to measure thephysical parameters of the continuous casting machine.the value of roll gap,angle,rollrotation and spray would be collected by the sensors,these data will be stored ininternal memory after initial processing and sent to PC software according to thereceived instruction. Then the data should be processed again and displayed with chartin PC software.The maintenance personnel in accordance with the final displayingresults determine the current condition of the tested caster.This paper introduces the measuring principle of various physical parameters ofcaster and the design of entire system hardware and software.Hardware design isbased on a DSP processor,both internal and external ADC is used for the analog todigital conversion unit,equipped with circuit module of signal conditioning,levelconversion,display,conmmunication,power supply and so on.These modules togetherto form the hardware platform of the roll gap measuring instrument.To analyze thecircuit functions of these harware modules,and to verify the feasibility of the hardwarecircuit.In order to improve the performance of the system software,the work ofuC/OS-II operating system transportation will be completed in CCS develomentenvironment,using multi-task processing function to realize software design andtesting achievement of the software fuctions.It is necessary to test the entire systemfunctions combined hardware and software after the completion of the systemsoftware design.To complete the design needs a number of tests,the preliminary testsare mostly in laboratory and giving some specific test methods.PC software is mainlyused to show the measurement results,some methods to show the measurement resultsare given in the paper,and explaining briefly how to analyze these results. Finally,summarized the main work and its problems of this paper, and gave some suggestionsand directions of improvement for future work. Some discussion about thedevelopment of roll gap instrument has also been made. This design has been demonstrated that multifunction roll gap instrument whichcharacteristics are rational design,accurate detection,stable,easy operation has a veryhigh application value. |
