A large number of novel specific functional and structural materials have beensynthesized in Crystal engineering, and the applications are constantly expanding as well.Showing potential application in separation,catalytic,gas storage,electricity and magnetic.As central metal atoms, the transition metal are mainly responsible for unique propertiesof Metal-organic frameworks, such as novel structure, luminescence, adsorption,magnetism and catalysis. The aim of this work is to assemble the appropriate organicligands with transition metal, to obtain a series of functional coordination polymers withnovel structure and potential application. The synthesis, crystal structure, IR, fluorescence,magnetic of these coordination polymers will be documented in detail.Chapter1, Introduced the research method, species and application of coordinationpolymers, as well as factors.Chapter2, When4,4’-bpy(4,4’-bipyridine) and Terephthalic acid being two kinds ofmixed ligands, coordination polymers we synthesized by hydrothermal method:[Cu(tp)(4,4’-bpy)]n(1), with3D of interspersed structure. The synthesis, crystal, structure,IR, fluorescence, magnetic of the coordination polymer will be documented andanalysed in detail.Chapter3, With5-hydroxynicotinic acid and transition metal atoms,four3Dcoordination polymers with novel structural have been synthesized.[Co(Ⅳ)(5-hnta)2]n(2),[Zn(Ⅱ)(5-hnta)2]n(3),[Cu(Ⅱ)(5-hnta)2]n(4),[Ni(Ⅱ)(5-hnta)2]n(5). Structure, fluorescenceand magnetic property of2has been investigated, antiferromagnetic interaction are found.Structure and fluorescence property of3has been investigated. Comparison with[Zn(5-hnta)2·2H2O]nsynthesized in2011, it and coordination polymer3are isomers witheach other.Chapter4, Introducing small organic molecules, G3CuO6(6) has been synthesized byligands with transition metal and rare earth metal atoms. According to others research andanalysising the structure of G3CuO6can be speculated a kind of superconductor material.
