Research On The Shape Target Curve Setting Model

Shape target curve plays an important role in the closed loop flatness control systemof cold rolling mill, whose exactness is important to improve the strip flatness. The studyon it is valuable to perfect the theory of shape control and to improve the ability ofindependent innovation of China.First, strip plastic deformation model is established based on the variation method，and the roll’s elastic deformation model is built according to the influence functionmethod. Flatness forecast model is the coupling of the two above models. The result of theexample shows: when the entry strip is convex, the form of middle wave target shape isappropriate, and vice-versa.Second, the four polynomials and sine function is adopted to fit the strip deflectionfunction. The rapid shape discrimination model is developed based on principle ofminimum potential energy. The result of the same calculation example shows: the rapiddiscrimination method is in agreement with the reduced order method in results, butcalculation speed of the former is faster than the latter. The rapid discrimination methodsatisfies the on-line condition.Third, the shape meter position error compensation model is established, based on themill’s geometry and shape theory. The temperature compensation model is built accordingto the measured data, which is fitted by the four polynomials. The coil build upcompensation model is set up to eliminate the influence on the strip shape of the unequaldistribution of thickness.In the end, the perfect shape target curve model is created, which takes the mill’sshape control ability into account. Simulation is done on a six-high reversible cold rollingmill with5passes. For the convenience of rolling practice, software of shape target curvesetting is made according to the hybrid programming.
