With the increase of mining depth and the improving of mechanization degree, itis easy to form the harsh environment of high temperature and humidity in mineespecially the thermal disaster under a few factors working. High temperature andhumidity environment not only leads to low productive and high accident rate, but alsoharms to staffs’ health. So, it’s significant to study how hot and humid environmentaffect miners’ body functions.Firstly, the heat sources are classified into three types: relative heat source,absolute source and other heat source. We analyze the formation of high temperatureand humidity in mine in details. Secondly, we analyze the parameters of humanphysiology, psychology behavior characteristics and quantitation study, in order todetermine the efficiency evaluation indexes. We build an experiment plan andmeasuring records according to the research. Thirdly, we build a experiment plan andmeasuring records according to the research. Lastly, based on the ergonomics andbiorhythm theory, we determine the efficiency deviation and set up targeted safetypolicy.The experiment performance in an environment capsule, School of Energy andSafety Engineering, Hunan University of Science and Technology. There are malestudents in18to27joined the experiment. We set the temperature and the humidity to34℃60%,36℃60%,38℃60%,40℃60%,34℃80%,36℃80%,38℃80%,40℃80%,which are8combinations. We set them to simulate slight, middle, hard exerciseintensity. We record experimenters’ physiological, psychological and behavioralindexes. The physiological index includes dental temperature, skin averagetemperature, heart beats and blood pressure. The psychological index includes bodyheat index and fatigue index. The behavioral index includes reaction and attention.In the extreme hot and extreme humid environment, the increase of temperature,humid and working strength have direct ratio with the decrease of physiology,psychology and behavior. Reaction and attention have slight increase because of bodystress effect. Each index changes obviously when stay in the environment in the first half an hour. The variable margin is shown that obvious to plain to obvious. The safetytemperature limitation of oral temperature and skin temperature average are38.4℃and37.3℃. The safety limitation of heart beats and heat feeling are140/min and19points. Weighting3indexes of behavior, we have the result that when the humid is60%, efficiency and optimum working efficiency deviate above10%and reach70%which is the maximum. Decrease rate gets the maximum after3hours.
