With the development of the economics and society, it has became more andmore important for the optical technology field such as aerospace and national guard,and the requirements for the Large Aperture Aspherical Optical Elements has becamelarge accordingly. The computer controlled optical surface(CCOS) is the main methodto get the ultropricise optical elements and the computer controlled small toolstechnology is an important one of the CCOS, it is widely used in the field of theAperture Aspherical Optical Elements manufacture.The computer controlled small tools technology is the main research object in thispaper and the purpose of the researching is to optimize the removal function of thistechnology. The means such as theoretical analysis, the simulation technology hasbeen used to get more detail data of the removal function.The content of this paper includes four aspects. Firstly, the common polishingpad of the dual-rotor structure is studied. With the basis of Preston assumption and theveter analysis, the model of the removal function has been builded. The influence ofthe factors such as speed ratio and eccentricity ratio has been discussed in this part.Secondly, the tending factor is used to optimize the removal function. Thirdly, theannular polishing pad of the dual-rotor structure is studied. The model of that hasbeen builded and the character has been studied. The influences of the size of thecentre core have been discussed which is meaningful to decrease the medium and highfrequency error. The wearing character of two kinds polishing pad has been studied.With the same pressure, the wearing character is different from each other. The effectof the annular polishing pad to decrease the wearing has been studied. Fourthly, thedwelling time and the residual error are studied. With basis of the disperse matrix, thedwelling time and the residual error have been computed by pule interation and leastsquare method.The research result of the normal polishing pad and annular polishing pad of thedual-rotor will be helpful to the related field in the future.
