At present, the global economy continues to develop, the high-speeddevelopment of economy has brought about the rapid growth of the demand for oil. Inthe past20years, the international crude oil market demand for crude oil increasedfrom6million barrels one day to8.4million barrels one day. Crude oil oftentransported by pipeline, in the process of conveying the energy consumption accountsfor all consumption about1%~3%. Therefore, reduce the transport energyconsumption has an important practical significance.Based on the analysis of hot oil pipeline running and operating characteristics,analysis and calculate the basic parameters for hydraulic and thermodynamicprocess. With data acquisition measurement combined with numerical fitting methodon basic physical parameters on the pump characteristic equation, heating furnacethermal efficiency equation and so on. Then using pipeline simulation softwarevarisim on Rizhao-Yizheng oil pipeline.Pipeline energy consumption as the objective function, the number of the pump,the number of the heating furnaces, the head of the pump and the heating temperatureof the heating furnaces as the optimization variables, considering pipeline safety,hydraulic and thermodynamic and other constraints, the optimization mathematicalmodel is set up. The number of pump and the heating furnace are the discretevariables, the pump head and the heating furnace temperature are the continuousvariables. Therefore, it is a nonlinear mixed discrete variable optimization designproblem.Given the optimization mathematical model of hot oil pipeline there are bothcontinuous variables and discrete variable, this paper proposes a novelalgorithm particle swarm optimization-simulated annealing hybrid algorithm(PSO-SA).According to the characteristics of particle swarm optimization (PSO) andsimulated annealing algorithm(SA), the particle swarm optimization-simulatedannealing hybrid algorithm has the advantages of fast convergence and globalconvergence. Through the PSO-SA find the optimal solution quickly and efficientlyto it is concluded the pipeline optimal operation. Taking Rizhao-Yizheng thermal pipeline as an example, using matlab to developthe optimal program, using PSO, SA and PSO-SA respectively to optimize thesolution. By comparing the optimization results, verify the PSO-SA hybrid algorithmis reliability and practicability for hot oil pipeline design. The hot oil pipeline optimalscheme has saved o lot of money, the optimization model can be widely used.
