This paper aims to study how to better protect the biodiversity in Qilihai wetland so asto maintain the stability of the entire ecosystem. The dynamic change of wetlandecosystem reflects on the reciprocal transformation of aquatic and terrestrialecosystems. There are many food chains in wetland ecosystem, which are linkedtogether by complex relations, forming food web. This instability reflects thevulnerability, resulting in the breakage of the food chain and destroying the originalecological balance. Based on the in-depth and field investigation of the hydrology,soil, animal and plants in Qilihai wetland, this paper proposes to dredge the waterchannels, build bird-habitant island and preserve the vegetation so as to complete andimprove the original ecosystem, leading it to virtuous cycle, maintaining the stabilityof the food chain and protect the bird habitants.
