N,N-dimethyl acetamide (DMAC) is an aprotic organic solvent with high boiling point and strong polarity, having the ability to dissolve, good stability, low volatility, hard to be hydrolyzed, hard to change and low corrosion. It can be widely used in the fields of petroleum processing and industrial organic synthesis. At present, the demand of N,N-dimethyl acetamide consumption from the domestic acrylic fiber industry and spandex industry accounts for the most part. And with the development of the chemical industry N,N-dimethyl acetamide will maintain a broader prospect for development and applicationIn this paper, give up the traditional catalytic reaction, adopt the direct synthesize DMAC method in a stirred batch reactor with the glacial acetic acid and dimethylamine The factor of speed, reaction temperature, ratio of glacial acetic acid and dimethylamine material was determined. The parameters kinetics of DMAC synthesize reaction was measured. using software fitting for synthesis of N,N-dimethyl acetamide dynamics equation:On the basis of dynamics research, use the chemical process simulation software to simulate the process of reactive distillation, respectively examines the theory of feeding way, the whole tower series, feed position, the molar ratio of acetic acid,dimethylamine, reflux ratio on the N, N-dimethyl acetamide synthesis.Reactive distillation technology is used to synthesize N,N-dimethyl acetamide at the atmospheric pressure, with dimethylamine and glacial acetic acid as raw materials. The rectification column has the height of1.5m.Glass packing was filled, which1.2m highly. The experiment selected excessive dimethylamine which joined from the tower bottom. The result showed that the suitable feeding position for acetic acid is3/5from the top of the tower, the ratio is1.the quality of DMAC reached87.5%in the tower bottom. The reaction products obtained contain a small amount of acetic acid, which no longer need to be neutralized, filtered and distilled. The high-purity DMAC product can be obtained directly by the conventional distillation, meeting the requirements of each application area.
