A total of eight counties in southern Ningxia one district, located in the central andsouthern Ningxia arid, poor water resources, land degradation and desertification moreserious difficulty in drinking water, economic backwardness, lack of talent, size of thepopulation of small towns, counties currently have no sewage treatment plant. TheNingxia plain area area sewage treatment plants have been built in oxidation ditch andSBR process-based, are more mature sewage treatment process, but a larger investmentand operating costs, is not suitable for the actual situation around the mountains ofsouthern Ningxia, it is necessary study the characteristics of suitable technology forsmall mountain town in southern Ningxia sewage.In this study, field research, data collection and analysis of data related to sorting,comparing a number of indicators demonstrate a method to filter out the sewagetreatment process suitable for mountainous areas of southern Ningxia, and in the localapplication of sewage treatment plant construction and operation good results.By studying the following conclusions:(1) Hydrolysis-aerobic process in actual operation smell great, the treatmenteffect is not ideal, and in addition to running power consumption, there is no obviousadvantage; biological contact oxidation process results in the actual operation is notideal, but also in economic and technical comparison no obvious advantage, so the twoprocesses to be excluded.(2) Wetland on investment, ease of operation and operating cost operatingadvantages, the actual operating conditions are good research, technology BaiLeKebiggest advantage is on infrastructure investment in infrastructure thanks to earthen ponds cost structure than conventional secondary treatment to Low around50%, whileits suspension chain aeration device is also easy to maintain, the oxygen in the form of ablast microporous aeration and higher utilization of energy, and sedimentation tank andaeration tank into one, easy to manage.(3)Deep pond aeration process, the cell body deep, large volume. Shock loadcapability, good water quality, stable, and does not require treatment and disposal ofsewage sludge, no bad smell; process is simple, to save operating costs; help improvethe ecological environment, improve the utilization efficiency of the land. This processcan change the regional climate, conserving groundwater sources, to facilitate naturalregeneration and reuse wastewater.(4)Southern Ningxia sewage treatment process should be chosen BaiLeKe process,deep pool aeration process. In the case of land Yunke also be further consideredwetlands.(5)According to the economic, geographic and demographic status of the naturalsmall mountain town in southern Ningxia, the choice BIOLAK technology, deep pondaeration sewage treatment plant construction are running well, while improving thewater quality of the environment in the southern mountainous town, bring someeconomic benefits.
