In flexible packaging and printing industry, the rewinder of printing film andinspection of printing picture are very important. Inspection rewinder is aindispensable equipment in the production and processing of roll shape products suchas printing film, paper products, multiple film and so on. It can carry on automaticrewinding and quality inspection to these materials.With the development of automation technology, automatic control equipment isused in all fields of production and living. Tension control and deviation control is thekey module in inspection rewinder system. In view of the weak independent researchand development strength of winding system tension control in domestic, as well asthe expensive price and hard to maintain or upgrade when introducing sets of systemfrom abroad. The inspection rewinder adopts automatic control technology toresearch tension control system and deviation control strategy, using PLC as corecontroller and combining server drive technology to control tension system anddeviation system intensively, establishing the control project and process, developingsystem hardware structure and software programme. Above all, we finally completedthe control system with simple operation, friendly human-machine interface and highreliability.First, this paper analyzes the development situation for tension control andcorrective control of inspection rewinder at home and abroad, points out the currentproblem of winding system in our country, put forward the main content of the study,and analyses the main function of this control system according to the technologyrequirements of inspection rewinder. This paper analyzes the causes of tension, therelationship between tension and speed, combined with incremental PID algorithm,and adopted a tension control strategy that the part of unwinding used to maintainconstant speed system and the part of winding used to maintain constant tensionsystem. This paper also analyzes the reasons of deviation for coiled materials,establish deviation control strategy that unwinding and winding proceed deviation control simultaneously. Using the human eye persistence of vision characteristic, wedesigned stroboscopic static as external control scheme, which can help workers todetect printing quality.Secondly, this paper finished the main hardware device selection for controlsystem of inspection rewinder, completed wiring and setting the correspondingparameter according to the electrical characteristics, created hardware system ofinspection rewinder. We completed ladder diagram procedures with the idea ofmodular programming, to realize the constant speed control, constant tension control,deviation control, meters counting and rewinding. In order to facilitate the operationand management, we designed friendly man-machine interface according to therequirements of control.Finally, we tested each part of inspection rewinder control system, and proceedthe whole debugging by loading printed film, corrected system parameters.The testshows that the performance of rewinding machine control system is stable andreliable. The speed and tension can keep constant when coil is running, rectifyingeffect is good too. This control system has high control precision and convenientoperation. The friendly man-machine interface is not only convenient for workers tocontrol the whole system, also can help workers to monitory the historical operationdata. This system has broad application prospects and practical value.
