The research for numerical control system of how slitting machine keeping tension constant is done with the technical rebuilding item of Northeast Light Alloy Co, LTD for No. 1300 slitting equipment, Owing to the inaccurate memory of the diameter and the inferior controlling performance, the equipment could not fulfill the function of slitting by constant tension and could not ensure the quality of the products. As a result of these, the system had become the key technology of restricting the operation of NO 1300 slitting machine for aluminum plate. Basing on the computer control technology, this system achieves the accurate measurement and calculation of diameter of open-coiler machine and coiler and it keeps the ratio of the diameter of open-coiler machine and coiler to flux of electrical machinery to reach the aim of keeping tension constant.In hardware design of the system 80cl96 single chip Micyco(SCM) is taken as its main body, and the computer digital control circuits are also included in the system which makes its performance and expansibility powerful. Adopting high-quality industrial single chip Micyco(SCM)which has HSI and HSO channels, the system has changed the original velocity signal collection set into inconder, thus the input pulse signals are pulled into HIS of the computer directly after signal processing. Utilizing the software control program after going through HSO channel and power amplicity, the pulse signals control the controllable silicon directly. In this way, the full digital control tension can be effected. The system has the supportive capacity which can fulfill the full digital control tension with some software. To ensure the reliability of the system, the signal input and output channel and the system self take some anti-jamming measure. The molular programming in applied in the software design. It has sub-routine of diameter error, which can control the precision of the system effectivotiy. The features of the system are its reliability, the strong supportive capacity of its hardware and its large scale of its software explaration, Through the effective combination of its software and hardware, the system effect the capability for constant tensionslitting by computer control on the original equipment and it also fulfill the control of constant tension by counter .Because of these, the system is very practical, necessary for further research, exploration and referential for analogy control system.We explore active and accumulate experience in the upgrading adaptment of the traditional equipment by the modern technology, At the same time, the control system mentioned in this article can be used for reference in the similar Electro_Mechanical system technology improvement and intelligentization enhancement of the original equipment.
