In this thesis, pentaphenylpyrrole derivates including1,2,5-tris(methoxycarbonyl)phenyl-3,4-phenyl pyrrole (DP-TPP),1,2,5-tris (carboxy)phenyl-3,4-phenyl pyrrole(DP-TPPH), sodium4,4’,4’’-(3,4-diphenyl-1H-pyrrole-1,2,5-triyl)tribenzoate (DP-TPPNa),1,2,3,4,5-penta(methoxycarbonyl)phenyl pyrrole (PPP),1,2,3,4,5-penta(carboxy)phenylpyrrole (PPPH) and sodium4,4’,4’’,4’’’,4’’’’-(1H-pyrrole-1,2,3,4,5-pentayl)pentabenzoate(PPPNa) were designed and successfully synthesized via Suzuki reaction and otherreactions. Further, UV-vis and FL were used to study whether they have the properties ofAIE or AEE. DP-TPP and PPP have the ACQ phenomenon in the mixture of THF and water. However, DP-TPPH and PPPH have the AEE phenomenon in the mixture of THF andhexane. And in the mixture of H2O and THF, DP-TPPNa and PPPNa shows AIEphenomenon strongly. Moreover, we studied the sensor application of DP-TPPNa andPPPNa. The experiments showed that the DP-TPPNa can be used as a highly sensitive, single selective, real-time and “turn-on” fluorescent biosensor for bovine serum albumin(BSA) detection and quantatition in aqueous media and in PBS buffer. The detection limit isas low as11nmol/L. DP-TPPNa shows a wide application prospect in BSA detection.Besides, it can be used as a highly sensitive, single selective, real-time and “turn-on”fluorescent chemo-sensor for Al3+detection. Another pentaphenylpyrrole derivate, PPPNacan be used as a highly sensitive, real-time and “turn-on” fluorescent chemo-sensor for Al3+and Pb2+. And the PL enhancements of PPPNa to Al3+and Pb2+are as high as13.8and24.It has the potential to be used in vivo because of its aqueous media.
