Precise blasting theory based on the sustainable development, scientific developmentconcept and guided by the theory of low-carbon economy, it is an important applicationand reflected in blasting areas in order to achieve safe, reliable, advanced technology,environmental protection, economic and reasonable blasting targets. Conditions on existingtechnology and equipment of Bayan Obo West mining have provided the necessaryconditions for implementation of the precise blasting technology. How to take "preciseblasting" concept to guide the daily mine production blasting, play the advantages ofexisting technology and equipment, accelerate the digitalization and informationization ofmine blasting, improve the efficiency of mining production blasting, increase the blastingeffect, reduce the blasting harm. This paper combined with actual engineering geologicalconditions and technical equipment conditions, systematic exposition of practicalapplication of precise blasting in Bayan Obo west mine, and performing on-site productiontest to establish and improve fine blasting system suitable for west mine.Studied on Bayan Obo west mine geological data and researched on the existingmining system analysis, loading, transportation equipment, which all satisfied with theprecise blasting technical conditions of the west mine, by building a fine west mineblasting technology system, further to dig up the potential of west mining technology andequipment, such as by means of positioning method to reflect accurately the location ofequipment and production facilities, combining computer aided design system with miningequipment. This can improve information exchange rate in mine production, strengthen thedynamic supervision and realize visualization scheduling of production, improve theoverall effectiveness of blasting work. RBF neural network was used to analyze blastingdata, and established a strong, precise calculation of blasting model, and optimized thedesign of the blasting plan and blasting parameters, improved the efficiency of the blastingdesign. Gradually improving Bayan Obo west mine digitalization construction and using Surpac software to establish three-dimensional model of blasting area, designed3dvisualization the blasting to vividly present the blasting scheme, and estimated the blastingresults, reduced the workload of blasting design personnel, speeded up progress of theblasting design. Through the analysis of Bayan Obo west mine bench blasting process,blasting work routing, intensification, coordinated and contract management wereproposed, provided references for improving the management level of enterprise internalblasting. According to the blasting vibration data from the on-site, built a BP neuralnetwork prediction model based on MATLAB, accurately predicted of blasting vibration,reduced the blasting vibration on engineering equipment, building and the harm of rockslope. The reason of blasting slungshot was analysed, and combined with the actualsituation to reduce blasting vibration reduction and flying rock control measures.
