In recent years, with the increasing use of automobile tires, tire retreadingindustry has been developing rapidly, the waste tire retreading rate has reached about50%. In the radial tire retreading process, tread grinding and pressing forming is animportant factor influencing the quality of tire retreading, forming quality will directlyaffect the quality and production efficiency of the whole tire retreading. Optimizationof retreading process, implementation of tire retreading equipment integration,improve the quality of retreading, reduce retreading costs become tire retreadingequipment application needs of enterprise. This article in view of the aboverequirements will step grinding and pressing process integration and design integratedmachine retread tires, we can achieve optimization,simplified one, and through thestudy and put forward to the scheme of improving quality and reducing cost. The mainwork is:(1) In this paper, through reading relevant literature, combined with the basis ofdomestic and foreign tire retreading forming equipment and retreading process, we putforward the design scheme of reduceing the number of equipment, processsimplification and make the tire grinding and pressure process integrate the wholemachine;(2) The structure and process of the radial retreading tire were studied andanalyzed, and understanding of the key process of grinding and pressure in tireretreading process. The influence factors on the adhesion quality of tire retreadingsizing material are analyzed. We can know that tread pressure force, the pressing trackposition, environment temperature, and carcass profile size is an important factor toinfluence the adhesion quality of the retreading tire;(3) Through the theoretical study, the main pressure roller were analyzed, and themain pressure roller thermal analysis was carried out by using Ansys engineeringsoftware. At the same time, analysis of optimum pressing and rolling position of theauxiliary roller, and simulate to determine rolling process state effect on the rolling effect;(4) The grinding and pressing mechanism and design requirement of key partsare briefly introduced, applying Pro/E software to complete the overall design of thegrinding and pressing machine. and makes the motion simulation for grinding pressureaction and realizes the feasibility representation of motion mechanism in the process ofthe tread grinding and pressrue,then illustrates the mechanism motion accuracy andmaneuverability;(5) In tread compound and cushion rubber experiment, confirmed the bestvulcanizing temperature and time of the tread rubber and tie gum; we carried out theexperiment on the three key factors influencing the adhesion strength—the pressureforce, temperature and grinding roughness. then it is concluded that the appropriategrinding surface roughness, pressure force and temperature.
