Recyclability is the biggest advantage of heterogeneous catalystscompared with homogeneous ones, but this trait is totally embraced bythe modern industry because they are environmental friendly, stable andlow cost. Exploring the relationship between the metal particles and thesupport, and the mechanism of catalysts in reaction system plays animportant role in designing and preparing of high-quality heterogeneouscatalysts. In this dissertation, a research is presented on metal/metaloxide@mesoporous carbon catalysts, mainly for solving some problemsof the reported synthesis methods, and obtaining preferable singlemetal/bimetallic@mesoporus carbon catalysts. The main contents of thepaper are listed below:In the chapter2, controlled synthesis of mesoporous silica SBA-15was implemented. And SBA-15was used as template to preparemesoporous carbon CMK-3. On the basis of obtaining high qualitymesoporous carbon, advantages and disadvantages of in-situ synthesismethod and implant method were compared for the preparation ofmetal/bimetallic@mesoporous carbon composites. And then we tried todesign synthesis process to prepare high quality CuxOy@CMK-3,FexOy@CMK-3, Pd@CMK-3, CuPd@CMK-3and FePd@CMK-3composites.Magnetic mesoporous materials were widely used in industrial wastewater treatment process, due to the high adsorption performance,potential heterogeneous Fenton reaction reactivity and recyclability. Inthe chapter3, first of all, we explored the variation of crystalline phase ofFexOy@CMK-3during carbothermal reduction procedure. The next,FexOy@CMK-3composites with magnetism were used to adsorb anddegrade organic molecules. As an example, MB and MO were used antested. Lastly, through the study of the results, a possible heterogeneousFenton reaction mechanism was proposed.In the chapter4,a cladding structure Pd@CMK-3heterogeneouscatalyst was obtained by impregnation, pre-hydrolysis and carbothermicreduction. Their catalytic performance was tested by Suzuki couplingreactions. The result showed that the catalyst activity was very high. Andthe problem of slow diffusion rate would be solved, if combined withultrasound technology.
