| Molybdenum is an industrial slag tailings, which is leaved after mining molybdenumresources. It’s not only pollutes the environment, but also resulted in a waste of resources.There are many kinds of elements in molybdenum tailings, but the content is too little,which leads to the use of molybdenum tailings is limited. The literatures of the reuse ofmolybdenum tailings are many, but most studies only for the individual components ofmolybdenum tailings separation, purification. In the actual production, it is difficult toseparate and purify.Therefore, if we can utilize molybdenum tailings comprehensively,whichhave various components, it will creat economic benefits, while solving the environmentalpollution.After molybdenum tailings component analysis, the component types contained in themolybdenum tailings is similar to that of mica.This study aims to use molybdenum tailings asthe main raw materials and other chemical reagents as auxiliary materials to preparemolybdenum tailings fluor phlogopite. By means of the use of X-ray diffraction analysis,DTA differential thermal analysis, the Zeiss microscope and other means, we prepared andmaked a study of molybdenum tailings fluor phlogopite crystalline phase, dielectric constant,whiteness, etc., we also studied the effects of lithium ions and iron ions on fluor phlogopitecrystallization activation energy,providing an important basis for the corresponding mineralpurification process.The results prove that, molybdenum tailings can be prepared fluor phlogopite which hasthe single crystalline, and the ratio of molybdenum tailings is the best between50%to60%,if the ratio of molybdenum tailings is too much, the color of fluor phlogopite will be too deep,the melting temperature of molybdenum tailings fluor phlogopite is at1460℃, thecrystallization temperature is at1250℃, the holding time is2hours;after grinding andsieving we can get different size particles of molybdenum tailings fluor phlogopite. In therange of0~50KHz, molybdenum tailings fluor phlogopite dielectric constant quicklyreduce with the increase of test frequency; In the range of50~100KHz, dielectric constantreduce slowly; more than100KHz, dielectric constant is stable, between6~7.5.The addedlithium ions has a certain influence on the crystallization process of fluor phlogopite. Themolar content of lithium ions in the range of0to6.67%(mole percentage of the content of potassium ion)will reduce the activation energy of crystallization of fluor phlogopite with theincreasing of the lithium ions, that is easy to precipitate fluor phlogopite crystals; More than6.67%, the crystallization activation energy increases,that is to say it restrain fluor phlogopitecrystallization,but it does not change the main crystal phase. Iron ions have an effect on thecrystallization process of fluor phlogopite and the color of fluor phlogopite crystallization.The role of iron ions helps melt, so it is possible to reduce the crystallization activationenergy, with the increase in irons content,fluor phlogopite’s color is deeper. |
