Hundreds of millions of tons of metal tailings often contain recyclable metal minerals and non-metallic minerals in China,reasonable recovery of useful minerals in the tailings to improve the comprehensive utilization of mineral resources has important significance.Based on the analysis of the properties of a certain iron tailings in anhui province,the best beneficiation method for recovering mica was explored,and the suitable beneficiation technology and beneficiation technology index were recommended.By analyzing the ore properties of total iron tailings,it can be seen that the content of K2O of iron tailings is 2.18%,the useful non-metallic minerals are mica,the content of mica minerals is 27.25%,among which the content of white mica is 19.44% and the content of biotite is 7.81%.By the particle size of iron tailings sieve analysis test,the iron ore tailings in the sample was 0.074 mm 56.59%,the overall size slants thin,at the same time of fine grained tailings mica iron content is low,mica in coarse scale iron tailings grade is higher,so the first removal of fine grained iron tailings flotation method to mineral processing was studied for the test sample again.By comparing the ore dressing indexes of deslimingfloatation process,dry screenfloatation process and dry screen deslimingfloatation process,the dry screen deslimingfloatation process is recommended.After desliming with dry screen and flotation,the concentrate contains 97.28% MICA,the recovery is 52.71% and the yield is 11.32%.The content of Al2O3,K2 O,SiO2 and S in Mica concentrate is 26.85%,10.15%,46.23% and 0.05% respectively.Through the experiment of flotation mica,the effective separation method of seriously mudded mica is determined,which not only brings new profit space for iron concentrator,but also can solve part of tailings discharge problem.Figure41;Table26;Reference 43...
