Gasoline fractionator is the first tower of ethylene pyrolysis gas into the separationsection, the stability of the ethylene plant operation and energy consumption are directlyby the process. At present, our country has more than20sets of different scale ethyleneplants. Most of them exist insufficient of energy utilization, result in high energyconsumption of ethylene plant. Therefore, it is necessary to do energy research forgasoline fractionation tower of quench oil system in ethylene plant.By means of process software Aspen Plus, ethylene quench system is simulated inthis paper. Using the preliminary design data and real operating date of the petrochemicalindustry ethylene plant of China. Compared the analog values with design value andactual value, the result agreed well, The error range is less than5%, can be the basis ofenergy research of gasoline fractionator in quench oil.Based on the exact simulation of quench system, this article has some deep researchabout the gasoline fractionator of the quench system, made an increase in gasolinefractionator tray oil circulation system for gasoline fractionation tower: taken out142℃tray oil90t/h from16th tray of gasoline fractionator, then cooled by process water,returned8th tray of gasoline fractionator.The improved process can save steam23.73t/h,consumption reduced16.684kg standard oil/t ethylene the consumption of ethylene plantfell3.19%.Results of this study have important guiding significance for improving the level ofoperation, recovering energy, reducing energy consumption and processing improvementsethylene plant....
