Under the environment of serious shortage of water resources and water pollution, watersaving and emissions reduction has become the focus of a petrochemical enterprise in thepursuit of profits and environmen protection.There is a big gap between the internationaladvanced level of water recycling,wastewater emission reduction and China’s overall level inpetrochemical industry.The average water consumption is1.08t/t in crude oil processing,which is higher than the international advanced level of0.5t/t,one times.China’s petrochemicalindustry water saving potential is tremendous.Based on comprehensive analysis of the presentsituation of the water supply,drainage system and and water-saving potential in apetrochemical enterprise.This article studies water network optimization of petrochemicalenterprise,minimizing fresh water consumption and waste discharge, to provide technicalreference for water saving and emissions reduction of petrochemical enterprise.(1) For a petrochemical enterprise’s overall water supply-water use-water reusechains,carring sewage water balance test; mapping water balance diagram of enterprise’s eachsubsystem and water balance diagram of the whole enterprise.Weaknesses and saving potentialin water system are analysised, puting forward water-saving planning thought, which providesbasis for the optimization of water network.(2) Using mixed programming of Accesss database and Visua Basic developed thedynamic management system software for petrochemical enterprises,which including softwareinterface design and backend database. The software provided technical support for waterbalance test‘s fastly, effectively implementation,also support the transformation of the waternetwork optimization for enterprise.(3) On the basis of water pollutant mass transfer model of water operation,analysis thesteps of determining the optimal water enterprise network with water pinch technology: Firstly,need to grasp the demand of water use and related conditions of water reuse,collecting limitimport and export water concentration of operations;Make interval concentrationand corresponding accumulative total quality load’s composite curve,determine the waterpinch point,the minimum fresh water and minimum waste emissions;Design,tuning waternetwork, to gain the optimal water network; (4) Select first circulating water system in two circulating network as the optimizationobject,optimize water network with water pinch technology.The amount of circulating wateroptimized down to1753.87t/h,the percentage of saving circulating water is37.04%. Afteroptimization, the amount of spatter water is1.53t/h, compared to the previous amount,whichreduces1.0t/h;evaporation amount increases4.04t/h, the total complement of water increasesto3.04t/h. Finally, according to economic analysis of circulating water network transformation,cost savings is2,683,200yuan one year, the investment recovery period is about0.26years.
