BTA is a kind of anti-corrosion additives has been widely used in metallurgical, machinery, petrochemicals, electric power, railway transport, light industry and the military-industrial sector. But it is still not able to fulfill a need in copper corrosion protection. Therefore the research of copper antiseptic materials is the hot focus nowadays. This paper shows the studies of the corrosion inhibition of BTA on copper according to the problems of copper corrosion protection in our country.This paper shows that2-benzotriazole-l-ethyl trimethylammonium chloride was synthesized using benzotriazole,2-chloroethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, NaOH as raw materials and ethanol as solvent, reflux at79℃for6h. The molecular structure of2-benzotriazole-1-ethyl Chloride was characterized and confirmed by IR and H NMR, and the compound obtained was final objective product.Anti-blushing angent of copper was combined2-Benzotriazole-l-trimethyl ammonium chloride, benzotriazole with some small nitrogenous molecules at appropriate proportion. Observe the stability and freezing resistance of different formulas and select high stability and well-antifreezing formula.Then we allocate influencing factors of formula above selected and obtain several groups optimal formula. By the single factor experiments, we analyse the effect of pH, temperature and concentration on the copper anti-blushing agent,then take wetness and heat accelerated corrosion test to inspect the inhibition effect directly and ensure antiseptic performance. Besides determine and comment by electrochemical curve. When2-benzotriazole-1-ethyl trimethylammonium chloride,BTA, diethylenetriamine,ethanol ratio of5:5:3:3, we get the best formula of anti-blushing agent.Orthogonal design was used to optimize the formula and following results were obtained temperature50℃, pH=6, concentration of2-benzotriazole-1-ethyl trimethylammonium chloride200mg/L. Experiments show that this formula is superior to based on benzotriazole of copper anti-corrosion formula available present.
