Metal corrosion is a worldwide problem,all countries in the world are deeply affected by it,metal corrosion causes serious economic losses every year.So slowing down or even preventing metal corrosion is of great significance.At present,many methods have been developed to prevent metal corrosion.Among them,corrosion inhibitor technology is one of the most suitable strategies.Only a small amount of corrosion inhibitor can be used to achieve good corrosion inhibition effect.Therefore,it is necessary to develop corrosion inhibitor technology.In this paper,benzotriazole and lauric acid as raw materials,reaction synthesis of1-(1H-benzotriazole-1-yl)dodecan.Its molecular structure was characterized by infrared spectroscopy.The synthesis conditions were optimized by single factor experiment,and the optimum synthesis process of 1-(1H-benzotriazole-1-yl)dodecan was obtained.Through the gas phase corrosion inhibition ability test,the inhibitor has excellent gas phase corrosion inhibition performance.The dynamic contact wet heat test shows that the inhibitor has excellent corrosion inhibition performance as anti-rust oil.The corrosion inhibitor is compatible with brass,copper and aluminum by compatibility test.After gas phase screening test and contact corrosion test on1-(1H-benzotriazole-1-yl)dodecan corrosion inhibition performance was tested,according to the test results,1-(1H-benzotriazole-1-yl)dodecan corrosion inhibition performance of metal is good.The corrosion inhibition performance of benzotriazole(BTA)and the synthesized benzotriazole derivative1-(1H-benzotriazole-1-yl)dodecan on carbon steel in 1%HCl solution and 1%NaCl solution was studied by weight-loss method at 30?,40? and 50?.The results of weight loss test show that 1-(1H-benzotriazole-1-yl)dodecan has better corrosion inhibition performance than BTA in 1%HCl solution at various temperatures.The corrosion inhibition efficiency of 1-(1H-benzotriazole-1-yl)dodecan in 1%NaCl solution for carbon steel is better than that of benzotriazole at 30? and 40?.At50?,the corrosion inhibition efficiency reaches 66.3% when the concentration of corrosion inhibitor is 30 mg/L.
