China is the world largest coal-producing country, Conveyor belt is an important transport means of coal transport, however, fires triggered by it had frequently appeared in the past few decades and caused serious harm on the lives and property, after that a fire-retardant conveyor belt research booming come.Compared to the flame retardant whole core conveyor belt widely used in mine now, laminated retardant conveyor belt was more suitable to production in coal mine for its low price, long life, thin and light.but it is difficult to achieve both favorable flame retardant and mechanical strength for its inefficient flame retardant. In view of the above questions, Through the formula design and optimization, a kind of flame retardant elastomer composite for the manufacture of laminated flame retardant conveyor belt was maded of the inherently flame retardant neoprene and mixed flame retardant, it conformed to the standardits about flame retardant. the main research were as follows:whose formula designed through orthogonal to1) CR rubber and the flame retardant additive system whose formula was designed through orthogonal experiment was used to prepare flame retardant elastomer composite material which had high flame retardant efficiency and maintained the higher mechanical properties and can reduced the generation of toxic gas in the combustion through further optimization effectively.Scanning Electron Microscopy and Thermal Differential Thermal Analysis were applicated into the research of carbon layer formed and thermal decomposition process, it’s found that adding the flame retardant additive can promote generating solid carbon layer structure and inhibit the thermal decomposition of the rubber,the results of flame retardant mechanism analysis further clarified the rationality of the flame retardant system.2) Friction between roller and conveyor belt cause belt’stemperature rise, for witch the strength of skeleton layer damaged seriously and difficult to detect and leaves a potential safety of producation.It’s needed to make sure that elastomer has a certain intensity under the condition of low temperature and its strength rapidly to a lower level under the condition of high temperature to make the cover fell off the conveyor belt in time.Through thermodynamic performance analysis and high temperature mechanical properties analysis, it has been clear that the mechanical properties of elastomer made up of CR rubber blended with EVA reduce at high temperature lead to conveyor belt cover breaking off in time to avoid safety accidents caused from the skid heat.3) Mixed solvent dissolved neoprene to prepare neoprene mucilage substituting the toxicity benzene, predicting impregnation performance through the test of dynamic contact Angle of mucilage and observating the situation of infiltration in-depth using scanning electron microscopy.The research of impregnation process showed that adopting two bath process and setting up reasonable drying conditions, good impregnation effect can be obtained, Through adding adhesive RA and RF to the flame retardant elastomer composite material and rubber material used in neoprene mucilage, the flame retardant elastomer composite material and the skeleton material bonding improve effectively...
