As coal mining level extending downward and mine mechanization degree increased, mine thermal problem become more and more serious, which seriously affect the safety production of coal mine. Kou zidong coal mining level is-960m underground,111304working face return air temperature is37.8℃. High temperature working environment caused seriously endanger to workers’ health and restricting the normal production of the mine. In order to reduce working face air temperature, refrigeration cooling measures must be taken.The paper analyzed Kou Zidong coal mine main heat damage source and the influence of high temperature environment for workers and production by site investigation and literature research. Then, the essay detailed introduced four kinds of commonly used mine refrigeration cooling techniques in modern mine cooling practice. The paper analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of four cooling system and summarized the applicable conditions of various cooling methods. Considering the human thermal comfort impact factors, refer to the body heat balance equation and comfort index evaluation method, the mine thermal comfort evaluation method is put forward. According to Kou Zidong mine air climate, we use this evaluation method to evaluate workers’ thermal comfort. According to111304working face actual production and based on the existed cooling measures, put forward some refrigeration cooling optimization scheme. At last, using the Fluent software to simulate the effect of optimization scheme.Through visiting the working face, we find out the reasons of high temperature. The two main reasons are mine wall rock&mechanical and electrical equipment heat release. Using the mine thermal comfort evaluation method to evaluate working face air climate after cooling, we can get the following conclusion:after the refrigeration cooling measures, working face refrigeration effect is not obvious. According to the simulate result of optimization scheme by Fluent, the article put forward some suggestions about optimize111304working face cooling system.
