In recent years, along with the rapid development of economy, the enlargement of the nationwide manufacturing, and the increase in construction activities, all have huge impact on the air quality. When the air humidity reach80%, the dust in the air, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and organic hydrocarbon particles will cause turbidity in air, lead to poor visibility, that’s the so-called haze weather, which will affect the people’s healthy and normal activities.In such cases, we have to set up system to monitor the particles in atmospheric environment. Most traditional monitor air particle monitor system monitor the particle through fixed monitor location, and monitor data were transmitted via cable networking, which has very low flexibility and poor ability on data summary and analysis. In order to improve that. Set up new monitor systems using wireless network technical. The advantage of the wireless network particle monitor system including:real-time monitor, real-time report and forecast, low people involvement, etc. The automatic system increase much on working efficiency.Based on this, this paper use Zigbee wireless sensor network technology to design one atmospheric particle monitoring system. First of all, along with the analysis of the atmospheric pollutants, discusses several kinds of dust particle monitoring method; Secondly, on the basis of the complete system overall architecture design, use modular design method, expounds the design of wireless sensor terminal nodes and the network center node:choose the DSM501atmospheric particle monitoring sensors which is based on light scattering method and the air temperature and humidity sensor SHT10as base environment reference, utilizing the ARM based ATmega1281microprocessor as the core of the node processing unit, by the support of AT86RF230wireless RF transceiver chip to complete the data wireless transmission; after that completed the system software design, talk about detail and the typical procedure; Finally, by using the system, finished field data collection and system testing, achieve the desired system function.
