Imidazoline corrosion inhibitor are widely used in fields of metal corrosion inhibition because of their excellent properties. With the develop of human environmental protection consciousness,developing low toxic, environmental friendly, efficient corrosion inhibitors has become a new research direction in the field of metal corrosion and protection.This paper abandoned the traditional modification methods of using toxic benzyl halide compounds, synthesized a series of imidazoline compounds which were modified by amidine to solve the old problem of water solubility.1.Imidazoline compounds were synthesized by solvent method, then the reaction conditions for the synthesis were optimized through orthogonal test. The effects of reaction condition on the product yields were discussed in the thesis. And then a series of imidazoline were synthesized by solvent method. The structure of the products was characterized by IR.2. Amidine modified imidazoline compounds were synthesized by indirect method using N,N-dimethylacetamide acetal. The effects of reaction condition on the product yields were discussed in the thesis. A series of amidine modified imidazolinewere synthesized by indirect method using N,N-dimethylacetamide acetal. The structure of the products was characterized by HRMS、FT-IR and1HNMR.3. Using the method of weight loss, potentiodynamic polarization curve and EIS to study the relationship between inhibitor concentration and inhibition efficiency, corrosion solution temperature and inhibition efficiency, corrosion solution acid concentration and inhibition efficiency, corrosion rate and acid dipping time, corrosion rate and Fe3+concentration for four kinds of corrosion inhibitors.4. Using weight loss data to study adsorption parameters (ΔGabs0) and the activation parameters(Ea ΔH*, ΔS*).The corrosion inhibiting mechanism of these compounds was discussed using weight loss and electrochemical test data.
