Due to the high sulfur content in the part of single wells of Yulin gas field, the wet gastransport model is usually adopted. Under the condition with water, such a model has createdconditions for the acid-forming from the natural gas containing hydrogen sulfide, which cancause the corrosion of some pipelines of equipments such as pipes, valves and separators so asto result in the environmental pollution and security risks of leakage and intoxication.Therefore, they are of immediate significance for the problem handling of the natural gascontaining sulphur, the corrosion retarding of pipes and machines in the gathering andtransportation system, the efficiency improvement of the pipeline transport, the securityguarantee in the gas gathering process, the cost saving and energy saving to carry out theapplied research of the use of small desulfurizer devices in sulfur gas wells and develop thesmall skid-mounted device for natural gas sweetening.By means of the system research on the application status of technology and process ofsulfur removal at home and abroad, the combination with the production status, gaschromatography, on-site operation and practical management of sulfur gas wells in the No.20Yu Station of Yulin gas field, and the comparative analysis of features of variousdesulfurization methods, the appropriate desulfurization method of single wells used in theon-site operation in the No.20Yu Station is come up in the paper. According to the selection ofthe desulfurization method, the plan of desulfurization technology will be optimized with thecombination of practical production in the No.20Yu Station, also the procedure design ofdesulfurization technology and the selection calculation of matching units will be conducted.Meanwhile, according to several parameters such as the output, sulfur content, pressure andtemperature of gas wells, some operational parameters of the desulfurization device, like themodel, loading amount, replacement cycle of the desulfurizer agent, will be determined. In thisway, we are able to reform the on-site desulfurization technology in the No.20Yu Station andinstall the small skid-mounted desulfurization device to perform system test so as toevaluate the effect of the desulfurization device.Eventually, the experiment of application shows that the small desulfurization device canmeet production requirements of Yulin gas field because through which, the purified natural gas can meet the exportable qualification of the national second-categorycommodity gas.
